Our AI features are designed to augment - not replace - the human connection between parents, teachers, and learners. All AI processing is FERPA-compliant and never uses personally identifiable information (PII) in training data.

AI: "To create a 5-step quest, go to Quests → Create Quest. Set 'Number of Steps' to 5. Each time the assigned person completes the target action, they'll progress 1/5, 2/5, etc. When they reach 5/5, the quest completes and bonus XP is awarded. Would you like me to walk you through the full creation process?"
You: "My NFC coin isn't tapping - phone just vibrates"
AI: "This usually means the phone's NFC is detecting the coin but the browser isn't handling the redirect. Try these steps: 1) Ensure NFC is enabled in phone settings, 2) Make sure you're not in airplane mode, 3) Try Safari if on iPhone, Chrome if on Android, 4) Hold phone closer to coin (within 2-3cm). The AI Analytics Engine runs daily analysis on tap data, quest completion, and achievement unlocks. It identifies trends, flags potential issues, and celebrates successes - all without you having to manually review spreadsheets.
AI analysis uses anonymized, aggregated data only. Student names are replaced with IDs. No PII leaves your account. Analysis runs locally per account - your data never mixes with others'. All insights are stored securely and accessible only to authorized users (parents/teachers).

Your family or classroom data is NEVER used to train AI models. All processing happens in isolated environments. Even if you opt-in to "share data for improvements," only anonymized, aggregated patterns are collected (e.g., "quest completion rates are higher when X") - never individual records.
No! All AI features are optional. You can disable them entirely in Settings and still use 100% of core features (coins, taps, quests, achievements, analytics). AI just adds convenience and insights.
AI processes your data locally within your account to generate insights and recommendations. Data never leaves Kinderon servers. We don't share, sell, or train public AI models with your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The AI processes data using anonymized IDs, not names. When displaying insights to you, names appear (because you have permission), but the underlying AI engine sees only: "Student_42" instead of "Emma Smith". 100% FERPA-compliant for educational use.
The Help Chat knows general Kinderon knowledge (how features work, troubleshooting steps) but does NOT access your specific taps, kids, or quests. It can't say "Emma has 500 XP" - it can only explain "how XP works". For account-specific help, it escalates to human support.
We use a combination of OpenAI GPT-4 (help chat), custom ML models (analytics), and Stable Diffusion (image generation). All models run on secure servers with end-to-end encryption.
Not yet! Currently AI only recommends - you must manually create coins and quests. We're exploring "Auto-Create Quest from Recommendation" feature for a future update. This ensures you stay in control.
During beta, ALL AI features are 100% FREE. Post-beta, basic AI (help chat, simple insights) will remain free. Advanced AI (detailed analytics, unlimited image generation) may be part of premium plans ($5/month). We'll announce pricing well in advance.
